to Handle the Places We Go When Hurt, Wronged, Uncertain, INSECURE, or Vulnerable
If you or people you support are having tough times, let’s talk about it. Communication is key. Increasing our ability to have a language for our emotions, and then talk to others about what we feel and need, brings better outcomes to navigating life’s darker challenges. We can all learn these things, even if we grew up where feelings, pain, and needs were not understood or discussed.

Where do you go and who do you turn into when you are hurting, uncertain, feel wronged, compare yourself, or feel vulnerable? Brené Brown’s new book Atlas of the Heart names and explores 87 such 'places we go': emotions and experiences we share as humans. Why? "The ability to name this emotion or experience is essential to being able to process it in a productive and healing manner." You may know that this is what I have been teaching people to do for the last 15 years, and I am thrilled that the research is here now to prove that we all need these skills.
I see it in every client: "...those who are able to distinguish between a range of various emotions 'do much, much better at managing the ups and downs of ordinary existence'". - Brene Brown
Join me for a free webinar to talk about her book, explore some concepts, and jump right in to feel and name the places you go so you can come back to the 'you' that you enjoy.
"When we don't have the language to talk about what we're experiencing, our ability to make sense of what is happening and share it with others is severely limited. ...we struggle to get the help we need, we don't always regulate or manage our emotions in a way that allows us to move through them productively and our self-awareness is diminished."
"...what can happen to us when we are unable to articulate our emotions. we feel hopeless or we feel a destructive level of anger."

“Life now is simple, easy. I’m not pushing. Feel better now than I ever have, than I can ever remember being. For the first time in my life I feel loved. This is the first time I’ve had any money in several years. Realized I am loveable. Maybe that’s all that was missing.”
